Discover Arcachon Basin

The 12 de Larros is ideally located in the heart of the Bassin d'Arcachon ...

The Port of Larros is one of the 7 emblematic ports of Gujan-Mestras. Between picturesque oyster huts, shipyards, traditional boats, oyster shells here and there ... and the "Barbot" of course (in the local dialect "insect", today become ladybird to represent the town of Gujan-mestras) , the Port of Larros promises a real change of scenery!

From our marine lodges, it is easy to take the coastal path for a magnificent walk that links the 7 ports of Gujan-Mestras. You will enjoy exceptional panoramas on the wild coastline and get to know the local celebrity, the oyster, of course! by going to meet the oyster farmers of the Basin, by visiting the oyster museum or by embarking on a flat bottomed boat for a trip with the tide ....

Lovers of chilling-out will appreciate the beaches around the Southern basin. The closest is La Hume and is traditionally dedicated to Kytesurf. It is bordered by tamarisk and clear pines and reveals a breathtaking panoramic view of the heart of the Arcachon basin.

The Arcachon basin offers many opportunities for activities to share with family or friends: hiking, swimming, sea trips, oyster tasting, sea fishing, a day at the Teich ornithological park, visit to the Certes estate, water sports and excursions in the area: the Dune du Pyla, Biscarosse, Arcachon, Bordeaux are less than an hour away ...

All you have to do is discover as many activities as there are landscapes.

A book intended to facilitate your stay is made available in each cottage. On request, it can be sent by email to allow the proper preparation of your stay.
